Guangzhou Saijia Acoustic & Lighting Engineering Co., Ltd. (SJAVL) is a national Grade A high-tech enterprise and a turnkey EPC service provider for venue engineering, delivering cross-border services to venue owners and operators worldwide. This project involved the main auditorium at the Haizhu District Government Conference Center. With approximately 1,000 audience seats, it is a district-level landmark venue designed for meetings, performances, live broadcasting and recording.

In Taihe Town, Baiyun District, Guangzhou, an 1,800 m² auditorium and multi-purpose hall at a 12-year school covering 210 mu (approximately 140,000 m²) were transformed from unfinished concrete shells into a fully occupied venue for school-wide assemblies and performances. Guangzhou Yuanya School, jointly established by Guangdong Guangya High School and Yuanya Education Industry Investment Co., Ltd., put the venue into use. Guangdong Lin'an Logistics Development Co., Ltd. commissioned the project, and Guangzhou Saijia Acoustics & Lighting Engineering Co., Ltd. carried out the work. Construction began in July 2022, and the project passed completion acceptance on August 23, 2023.

In the Nanhu area of Baiyun District, Guangzhou, a black box experimental theatre has quietly taken shape inside a spacious, aging building. It has no traditional proscenium arch and no fixed boundary between performers and audience, yet it passed completion acceptance in the summer of 2023 and became a new venue for performances and rehearsals at the Baiyunshe Culture and Arts Research Center. The audio and lighting systems were delivered by Guangzhou Saijia Acoustics & Lighting Engineering Co., Ltd., a company with many years of experience in the acoustics and stage lighting industry.

On the campus of Guangzhou Tieyi Middle School in Baiyun District, Guangzhou, stands a multipurpose auditorium designed to host school-wide assemblies, opening ceremonies, cultural performances, and concerts. Behind this approximately 1,500 m² space lies a complete auditorium acoustical fit-out project, delivered under a specialist subcontract and completed over a 173-day construction period. The auditorium was transformed from a bare structural shell into a performance and assembly venue designed to meet its acoustic requirements.

Located on the campus of Guangzhou Technician College in the Science and Education City of Zengcheng, Guangzhou, this academic lecture hall can host meetings, speeches, performances and even the opening ceremony of a national vocational skills competition final. In its former state, it was an unfinished shell with no professional systems. Today, it is a multifunctional venue integrating stage lighting, professional sound reinforcement, LED display, central control and matrix switching, meeting support systems, and 284 square meters of architectural acoustic treatment.

Guangdong Han Opera is a national-level item of intangible cultural heritage, and the Guangdong Han Opera Theatre is responsible for preserving and passing on this art form. In 2008, a lighting and sound equipment procurement and audio, lighting and AV systems integration project worth RMB 7.1817 million was completed in Meizhou. The project covered two venues—the main theatre and the rehearsal hall—and integrated three major systems: architectural acoustics and interior treatment, stage lighting, and stage sound. It ran from the award of the contract on March 10, 2008, and contract signing on April 18, to successful acceptance by all five parties on October 11, taking approximately six months.

Located in the new campus of Foshan Youth Cultural Palace in Beijiao, Shunde, Foshan—next to Beijiao Cultural Center, Beijiao Park and Heyuan—is a professional 395-seat art theatre. In its “former life,” it was simply an auditorium in a newly built venue, not yet given an acoustic identity. Today, it is a new performance space for young people, integrating theatre acoustic fit-out, seating, stage lighting, professional sound reinforcement, stage machinery and rigging, curtains, LED displays, video surveillance and power distribution.

This case study documents an esports arena design and engineering project undertaken by Saijia for a commercial esports complex, covering approximately 1,200 m² of floor area, 40 gaming stations, 120 audience seats, and a main stage equipped with lifting mechanisms. The project was delivered in accordance with the Class B venue requirements of GB/T 44456—2024, Code of Operations and Services for Esports Venues. The acoustic design pursued three objectives: clear audio for players, clear audio for spectators, and accurate localization of in-game sound effects.
